Lockets are not my jam but good golly this one is incredible. Hand etched with a unique design on the front and back this is one-of-a-kind special.
The front has two Forget-me-not flowers with foliage surrounding a shield design which has been left blank.
The back has scrolling foliage, obviously created by a master craftsman, with perfect balance and flow. It has full hallmarks for Chester 1908 - 9 375, the Chester crest and the letter H date stamp.
Makers mark A.M. is still visible but slightly less crisp than the rest of the piece - which is in remakable condition especially given its 117 year lifetime.
